There is a school of thought that reading self-help books can assist in treating depression. In the UK, they’ve actually prescribed it. While no book is going to fix your life or cure a serious mental illness, there *are* things you can do to help yourself and start the road to recovery.
The Depression Self Help Bookstore features books about bipolar and depression, other mental health issues, grief, wellness and recovery, relationships and more.
I don’t actively solicit donations to run these websites because they are a labor of love. However, I do pay for the costs out of pocket and appreciate any contributions. (Click here if you wish to donate via Amazon Honor Pay or PayPal.)
If you plan to shop Amazon.com, I thank you for shopping one of my online stores, as the small amount I make goes towards the operating costs of these sites.
There are times I may solicit donations more actively when the need arises, such as trying to help defray legal expenses in forced shock cases, plus times when the CTIP newsletter is to go out (the printing/mailing costs of that newsletter are paid for by Linda Andre, out of pocket) and other special circumstances. If you would like to help in those situations please let me know.
I thank you for your support.
