I noticed today that gas prices had come down about 80 cents a gallon since I last filled up. This story confirms (I guess, it’s Reuters, not too credible) it.

My friend (who thinks Obama is giving us all a free hybrid as his inauguration present) says anyone with a big truck or SUV should be banned from having it.

Well, in addition to thinking prostitution should be legalized, I think that if someone wants to drive around alone in a big old Hummer and s/he can afford the gas, why not?

We don’t have a Hummer or a big truck (though I’d like a small truck to haul stuff), but it makes me want to go buy one just to say f.u. to the world. I’m tired of people (who don’t even use those horrid curly light bulbs I was shamed into using) telling the rest of the world how they should live. This includes my friend, because she’s got an excuse for everything; why SHE can’t do it but everyone else should be forced into.

But I’m looking forward to my free hybrid if Obama wins. The tax hike is gonna suck, though. Or maybe not. DH is a CPA and knows all of those many secret loopholes that the dirty Republicans set up for their rich friends, while stealing milk from poor babies’ tummies.

Oh, and p.s….as soon as those curly bulbs die (or sooner if I take them out and put them in the landfill), I’m going back to old bulbs. They aren’t as bright and they have some weird delay. That pisses me off because I bought two packages of these terrible things and nobody warned me how awful they are. And I’ll bet Al Gore doesn’t use them either….because they SUCK.
