BO isn’t even president yet, and already they’re burning his face and driving over him. How long til the shoes start flying? This is disappointing; people told me he was not only going to fix the world, but repair our wounded image abroad.

On the happier side, Katie Couric practically slobbered on herself last night on the CBS Evening News. By the time he has his hand in the air taking the oath, poor Katie is going to need a full bib.

Is it just me, or is the mainstream media glowing? I don’t remember this kind of euphoria when GWB was a week away from inauguration, but maybe I’ve forgotten. Oh, right, it was all about a stolen election, making fun of Kathryn Harris’ makeup and hanging chads.

Now it’s ObamaMania to the max, and what a festival it is. I may have to heat up some Pizza Rolls and get in the spirit of the party. Less than one week until the world is HEALED! Foreclosures will stop, everyone will have a job, healthcare; gas prices, well, they’ll rise to get us to stop driving evil cars. But that’s okay. We’ll all be super-duper happy riding on the Obamamobiles.

Now I just heard Obama is going to eat the same meal Abe Lincoln ate. Isn’t that adorable? I hope he sends Michelle out to the costume store for a stovepipe hat. That would complete the Norman Rockwell painting.

Now if the media could just tone it back a notch and quit messing their pants from the excitement…
