The No-Choice Health Plan

Print Friendly Email this article

I’ve known some people who could afford to pay the premiums for health insurance, but made choices. They didn’t, so they could buy other things. (In one case, a family with two kids, mom is a clotheshorse and that comes first. The rest of us have paid a lot of medical bills for them.)

Under the proposed healthcare plan, these folks will be required to carry insurance. I’m not sure, but I think if they don’t ante up, the government will just take it out of a paycheck like it does FICA.

All of these folks voted for Obama, and they’ve been whistling a happy tune, thinking they’re getting free or dirt-cheap health insurance.

Wake up, suckers. Your paychecks are gonna get a whole lot lighter pretty soon.

It’s called the No Choice plan.

You whined and whined about health insurance (I’m talking about the millions of people who had access to it, but had other priorities and rolled the dice; I’m not talking about people who have lost jobs and have genuine need) while you shined your BMW and wrote checks for the private schools.

What you really wanted was to take a ride on the Obama Gimme Train, and guess what. Nothing is free. Welcome to the world the rest of us live in.
