I just googled "ups service going downhill' and found this blog entry. Why? Because I noticed this dump and run phenom.(my UPS guy was great, always knocked, left redelivery note if you weren't home, etc.) T

hen last night they dumped a 77 pound wool rug on my front porch on a city street at 6:30 at night. Problem is I won't be home for two days.

Solution: I won't order or I'll stick to USPS, who, despite JS's assertions, doesn't mind asking for signatures and/or simply has a post office nearby where I can pick items up whern I'm not home. (And by the way, they've never lost any mail of mine in the past 36 years, so I've about had it with them being everyone's whipping boy.)
